Plea for Donations

We are a growing Centre, with quality care and professional work ethic. Every project is specifically to improve the centre and contribute to the service we provide to our community.

We wish to complete the following projects with the Fundraising.

1. Kitchen Construction

Our current kitchen is inside the main house, audits by the Department of Health requires the kitchen to be separated from main house for the safety of our children. The project has been initiated as below:

Kitchen ongoing progress

The fundraising will help raise funds to buy material such as: Corrugated sheets, Floor and wall tiles, Paint, Electrical accessories, Labour, etc.

Inside Kitchen

After finishing the kitchen outside, this will be converted into a another classroom/activity room for our children. Allowing us to extend the centre.

2. Centre Renovations

When we relocated to Pretoria, we had to start from the ground. Thanks to the team we have been growing since day one but our efforts can only do so much. Our building needs to be renovated and we wish to extend as well.

Outside

  • Wall plastering – This will help seal the crack
  • We need to re-paint the entire centre as well as the new kitchen.
  • Put paving around for easy access and wheelchair
  • Improve playground – More stimulating monkey bars, artificial grass and wooden house.

Inside The Main House

  • New sponges for all beds
  • Design of beds with cupboard
  • Toilet accessories (flushing & Basin)
  • Separate girls and boys Bathroom
  • Repair current bathtub and install a new one
  • Ceiling repairs and installation
  • Air conditioner repairs
  • Wall painting all rooms to be stimulating and colourful.
  • Floor Tiling of classrooms

3. Educational Resources

Our children require different training and education. Having a variety of stimulating resources will help with cognitive and physical development.

Resources such as:

  • Whiteboards
  • Assertive writing tools
  • Multisensory teaching boards
  • Paedoatric tables and chairs
  • Learning wall charts
  • Storage container
  • Uniform
  • And more

4. Centre Transport

Reliable transport is the lifeline of our centre. For years, our beloved 2009 Mercedes Vito has faithfully served the children and caregivers of our home, transporting supplies, attending appointments, and bringing joy to the lives of those we serve. But now, it’s struggling with serious mechanical issues that we simply cannot afford to fix.

Without a working vehicle, even the simplest tasks—like collecting medication or delivering meals—become major challenges. We’ve had to rely on our manager’s personal car to keep the centre running, but this is not a sustainable solution.

We dream of restoring our Vito or, even better, acquiring a safe and reliable school vehicle that can meet the daily needs of our children. It would mean the world to us—and even more to the little lives we care for.

5. Monthly Wishlist

“We have a wishlist of essential items and groceries that we use on a daily basis to care for the children and prepare their meals.”
